If you decide you don't want the calendar you created, right-click the calendar and select Remove. To show or hide the Folders list, select Show or Hide the navigation pane. Get Help has troubleshooters for classic Outlook for Windows you can run for many common scenarios, Fix Outlook Site such as Outlook startup or profile setup problems. These often help resolve issues without the need to contact support. Get Help has troubleshooters for Microsoft 365 you can run for many common scenarios. If a troubleshooter is available for your issue, select Start to run that troubleshooter. Microsoft has its own tool for automatically scanning and correcting Office when things go awry. You can read about it and then run the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant to see if that helps.

You can create a new profile and then add your email accounts to the new profile. If repairing your Microsoft 365 programs didn't resolve your issue, move on to the next step. For example, the first time you try to Dismiss All on a list of reminders, Outlook asks you if you're sure you want to do that. If you don't choose an option on that Fix Outlook Site dialog box, Outlook won't let you do anything else.

After reinstalling, now it freezes constantly, even when not in use. Roughly every 5 seconds, the window freezes, grays out, and gives a "not responding" message--just as before. But it happens constantly without me even doing anything in Outlook now.

I am not quite sure when this started, otherwise I would have rolled back updates and/or removed recently installed apps. I recently uninstalled and reinstalled Office but it only made the issue worse. In System Configuration, if you select a check box, the related service or startup program runs when you restart the computer. If the check box is cleared, the service or startup program doesn't run when you restart the computer.
